GameGlass for Star Citizen: setup, pricing & partner code

Turn an existing phone or tablet into an extra control panel for Star Citizen. This guide explains the setup, helps you compare Basic, Pro and Lifetime, and shows where our optional partner offer fits.

GameGlass pricing: Basic, Pro or Lifetime?

Try the controls on a device you already own before choosing a paid plan. The right option depends on how many panels you actually use and how long you expect to keep using them.

Basic

The free entry plan has a limited number of Shards. Use it to try a small touch panel beside your main controls.

Pro

The subscription unlocks additional features and content. Compare the billing period, renewal terms and total price shown by GameGlass.

Lifetime Pass

A one-time payment instead of an ongoing subscription. Some separately paid partner content or features may still be excluded.

Our practical approach: start with Basic for a few secondary commands; compare Pro if several panels become part of your regular setup; calculate the Lifetime price against your expected subscription costs before committing.

Set up GameGlass for Star Citizen

The Hub runs on your PC, Shards are the touch panels, and Forge is the editor for creating or adapting layouts. A tablet or smartphone complements your keyboard, joystick or HOTAS.

  1. Use the official installation instructions and connect your PC Hub and touch interface with the same account.
  2. Pick a small Star Citizen panel with commands you already understand.
  3. Check the game path in the Hub Plugins page, especially if LIVE and test installations coexist.
  4. Back up your custom keybindings and match the panel commands to the bindings used in your game.
  5. Test an obvious action, such as lights or landing gear, in a calm location before relying on the panel during combat.

What belongs on a touch panel?

Good candidates include hangar communication, flight preparation and secondary ship functions. Keep recurring commands in consistent positions and separate risky actions to reduce accidental taps. Mining and salvage can each have their own panel; immediate combat actions should remain on your main controls.

Does GameGlass mirror live MFD data?

A cockpit-like design is not proof that the panel receives all live ship-system data. The official Star Citizen plugin explanation describes keybinding-file support. Check the actual feature description before expecting a full live MFD mirror.

When a command does not work

  • Check the connection between the Hub and your touch device.
  • Confirm the correct game installation and path.
  • Compare the command with your actual Star Citizen keybinding.
  • Test one simple action before troubleshooting a chain of commands.
  • After a major game update, recheck your bindings and panel compatibility.

Questions before buying

Do I need to buy a new tablet?

Not automatically. First check the supported device requirements and try an existing phone or tablet. Connection reliability, readability and a comfortable position matter more than filling a large display with buttons.

Will KAROLINGER work on every plan?

Offer eligibility can change. Enter the code where the checkout supports it and check the final price before paying. A partner code does not guarantee a discount on every plan or purchase.

Is GameGlass required to play Star Citizen?

No. It is an optional way to access commands. If your keyboard and joystick bindings already work well for you, you can keep using them.
